2. Our new website

New KCF website was set up by sandy i.e. go to www.google.com, then type www.kcfkampot.org.com.

3. Recommendation of a child

At the moment two recommendations of children are sent to KCF for consideration. it is agreed that that before we start providing help, there need to be some body who are experienced to interview the family in order to get information, sort of help the child needs.

1-Does the child regularly go to school?

2-How often does the child miss school?

3-What are the reasons of missing school?

4-When there is no support, will the child still go to school to finish grade 9 or will he quit?

5-Are there any other NGOs support the child?

6-Specific helps-transport, mobility, learning resource...

7-Questions about disabled or not, health of children

8-Family background: house situation, income,

After the interview, bring the information to discuss the next team meeting.

Ask Carolina to help interview the first two children recommendation with Sandy. if she is busy Hans will take over.

It is also agreed that it will be good to visit the school the child learns and get some information from teachers and director.

4.New postcard printing

The idea is to change picture and its size of the postcard we have at the moment. But it is not possible to do because no one brought photograph to the meeting.

But one possibility is to select the photographs from Mathew. The picture needs to combine the provincial view as well as education.

5. Change of Charter

In the old charter, VSO volunteers have to visit a recommended child. We agreed that we change this as VSO volunteer as well as KCF members

6.Report of activities until now

-Hans and Sim went to the bank and explored the possibility of how people who live abroad can send the money to KCF bank account. One possibility is anyone who wants to send money to KCF bank account is possible from abroad as long as they could find intermediary bank in their countries or they could send through moneygram. But sending the money through moneygram requires donors to confirm their addresses and amount of money they send and contact person in this country (Cambodia).

-Sandy sees also another possibility to send money with credit card. But you need tom be member of organization. Sandy will explore this.

-Norm is going to visit all the places that sell postcards.

-It is good to involve Sat, Community development Worker (CDW) from Epic Art, to help.

-Kimhong needs to check Email Address regularly

-Next KCF meeting is October 21^st, 2007 at four o’clock at VSO office at the POE.
