Kampot Children's Fund
What is it ?
Hello and thank you for your interest in the Kampot Children's Fund.
Kampot Children's Fund (KCF) is a small fund, raised from donations by private individuals, which aims to help poor and disadvantaged children in Kampot Province, Kingdom of Cambodia, to complete their basic education.
Why was it started ?
The need for this fund has become clear to VSO volunteers working in Kampot who have the resources to support organisations and systems, but no money to help the individual children they meet.
Who is it for ?
The fund is particularly intended to support children:
- who are disabled,
- who suffer from poor health,
- who come from a very disadvantaged family background,
- who are orphans,
- who have to support younger siblings,
- who belong to a minority group,
- or who are disadvantaged for any other reasons.
What does it do ?
The fund provides help (in kind) with transport, physical mobility, educational resources and tuition, medical and nutritional needs for disabled, poor and disadvantaged children to attend school..
How can you help ?
Go with a valid proof of identity card to an intermediary bank which is a member of Canadia Bank PLC

The Treasurer will deposit the money into the Kampot Children’s Fund account, showing his Identity Card (no. 110029800).
After the next meeting of the members of the Kampot Children’s Fund you will find your name and the transferred sum in the minutes of this meeting. The minutes are published on our web site
The Executive Board will send you a letter, signed by the Chair, the Secretary and the Treasurer in which the transferred sum is confirmed.
